Bunny Runs

During April there are a series of short fast fell races taking place near Haworth, they are known as the Bunny Runs. They are on each Tues evening in April and the exact details about start times and venue can be found at

They are for anyone over 12 so only for our older juniors I’m afraid but seeing as the first 2 are during school holidays when Calder juniors isn’t on anyway its got to be worth getting over there. From what I remember there is a lot of egg shaped chocolate to be had. So if your over 12 get your red and white vest on and give the Bunny runs a go.

X Country Honors

Edan (2023), Max (3762) and Brad (3761) in action

On Sat 10th March the Intercounties Cross Country Championships were held at Cofton Park in Birmingham. This is where the 8 best runners from each county compete in a very high quality competition. It really is the best of the best. Edan Whitelaw qualified to represent Yorkshire in the U15 age group and Max Wharton and Bradley Traviss also qualified to represent Yorkshire in the U17 age group.

It is a great honour to pull on a county vest (especially a Yorkshire one) and all 3 of our juniors did really well. Congratulations to the lads. Well done.
